How to make high protein dip

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and sour cream. Mix well until smooth.
  2. Add the lemon juice, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, salt, chives, and hot sauce. Stir until evenly incorporated.
  3. Transfer the dip to a container, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavours develop.
  4. Serve chilled with potato chips, crackers, or cut vegetables.

—

Tips for success

  • Letting the dip rest in the fridge helps the flavours meld together.
  • Use full‑fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture and best flavour.
  • Make it your own—swap chives for dill or parsley, or add a spoonful of Dijon for extra tang.

FAQ

Can I use all yogurt instead of sour cream?
Yes. Using all Greek yogurt will increase the protein content and reduce the fat. The dip will be tangier and slightly less creamy.

How long does this dip last in the fridge?
Stored in an airtight container, it will last up to 5 days.

Can I make this ahead of time?
Absolutely. It actually tastes better after resting for a few hours or overnight.

What veggies pair well with this dip?
Try it with carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, snap peas, or radishes.
