Labneh is a type of strained yogurt that is thick, creamy, tart and refreshing.  It’s similar to greek yogurt but has way more personality.  It’s the perfect blank canvas for adorning with all sorts of savoury and sweet toppings. If you are looking for something a little different to bring to a pot luck, dinner or office party, look no further.  This bedazzled labneh dip is interesting, delicious and easy to whip up in ten minutes or less.

Serves 6

1 1/2 cups labneh

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 tbsp liquid honey

1/4 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped

1/4 cup pomegranate arils

1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped

2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

  1. Spread labneh on a serving dish.

  2. Top evenly with salt, pepper, honey, pistachios, pomegranate arils and mint.

  3. Drizzle with olive oil.

  4. Serve with veggies or pita.

TIP: If you can’t find labneh use 2% Greek yogurt with 1 tbsp lemon juice mixed into it
